Originally from Minden, Iowa, Marissa Kay, PT, DPT, brings a small-town warmth and curiosity to her work. She enjoys building connections with patients and making therapy a fun, meaningful part of their lives. With a background in sports and a love of problem-solving, Marissa sees physical therapy as the perfect balance of movement and investigation.,

Marissa earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO after completing her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. During her studies, she was especially drawn to neuroanatomy, kinesiology and psychology. For Marissa, the most rewarding part of her work is helping people rediscover what they love by improving how they move.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog and heading to the mountains whenever possible to explore new hiking trails.
